I have been in the accounting and bookkeeping industry since high school. Without telling you how long that has been, I began with setting up company books on Quicken in the mid-1980s before QuickBooks later became the industry standard. I joined Creedle, Jones & Alga, PC accounting firm in January 1999 and became one of the first QuickBooks Pro-Advisors certified by Intuit (the makers of QuickBooks). I frequently attend classes, seminars, and conferences throughout the country and online to remain current on the latest versions of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Point-of-sale.

I now provide Pro-advisor and bookkeeping services out of my home, traveling to offices throughout Virginia and North Carolina. I use a company called Remote Accounting Solutions to transfer files and set up remote QuickBooks files. I also use QuickBooks built-in Accountants Copy feature.
